Language Arts: TIME IS RUNNING OUT!Students have until Monday, February 28, to improve the scores on their essays on myaccess.com. Remember a score of "4.2" =70%, which = 70/100 points, which = a "C". Any score less than that is an "NI". There are four essays that will be on this term's report card. Each essay is worth 100 points. As you can see, these essays will play a significant part in determining the Language Arts grade that will be on the report card for Parent/Teacher Conferences on March 9-10, 2011.

Students were introduced to a new writing assignment on Tuesday, February 22, "A Day In Ancient Pompeii." This is a narrative piece of writing and is NOT due before the March Parent/Teacher Conferences.
