Planner Signed Due: 2/3

Language Arts: "How To Handle A Bully" Essay Due: 2/22. We are finished working on the essay in class. Students will need to continue working on them at home to keep improving their scores. On February 22, I will record the scores. We will be starting another essay next week.

Oral Poem Performance of "Don't Quit" Due: 2/15. Students will be graded, so remember to practice it "Loud, Slow, and Clear." By now, they should have the first verse memorized.

Soc. Studies: "Using New Words" pgs. 43 and 46 due tomorrow Feb. 3 Study for the TEST on MONDAY! You should be able to answer the practice questions listed on the blog easily. There are two sets of practice questions. Scroll down to find both lists. There is also a list of practice questions for those who plan to take the extra test that will count towards earning the Falcon Award. Study! Concentrate on knowing the information on your study guide. Make flashcards. Make a memory game. Quiz your friends. Retell the stories. Watch an old fashioned movie this weekend about ancient Greeks. (Some of the newer made movies are not appropriate for sixth graders.) Ask your parents for help. ARETE!
